Can this winch be mounted feet front, not feet down and if so what winch plate do you recommend?

Thanks for your enquiry. We would not recommend mounting this winch feet front..... the mounting plate for the 13V2S12-CAD is the IST600-CAD
how many ft is the rope or up to how many ft the rope can it be spool

Thanks for your enquiry. Keep at least 5 full wraps of cable on the spool, (Usually marked red on the winch cable at the drum end) at any one time
